Lucille: Maiden to Mother
Book One of The Mama Lucy Trilogy
In a world where faith, tradition, and destiny intertwine, Lucille: Maiden to Mother begins the unforgettable journey of a young woman standing at the threshold of transformation. Born in the heart of the South, Lucille carries the hopes of generations before her while uncovering the hidden strength within herself.
Through the voices of ancestors, the guidance of the Three Mothers, and the ever-watchful presence of Sophie the raven, Lucille learns that becoming is both a burden and a blessing. Her story is one of resilience, spirituality, and the eternal struggle to balance light and shadow.
The first book in The Mama Lucy Trilogy, this novel weaves together folklore, faith, and feminine power to create a spellbinding tale of generational healing and self-discovery.

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1987, where the rivers meet and the seasons shift with purpose. St. Louis taught me my first lessons: to stand firm in storms, to listen more than I speak, and to value the roots that keep you steady.
In 1999, life carried me to Georgia, where the magnolias bloom and the air hums with summer stories. Georgia became the place where I learned to grow, to dream, and to let the sun reach the places in me that had never seen its light.
Both places live in my heart. The Midwest gave me my foundation; the South gave me my wings. Together, they shaped my voice, a voice that weaves truth, tradition, and a touch of the mystical into every story I write.
Through Lucys Pen Publishing, I honor where I’ve been and imagine where we can go. My words are rooted in legacy and possibility, meant to heal, inspire, and linger like a well-loved family recipe. Whether on the page or in conversation, I write to keep the stories warm.
